E. Park & Sons held their first Macmillan Coffee Morning(s) on September 17th & 18th. Colleagues got busy baking and producing some amazing cakes and bakes. Many of the bakes were traditional recipes from colleagues’ home countries. This gave us the opportunity to try something different!
E. Park provided free tea and coffee. Donations of £1 per cake were made.
These was also a “Guess how many coffee beans in the jar” game, which got everyone scratching their heads!
Colleagues from Epworth and Wilmslow raised a staggering £517.80 for the charity.
Richard Park, Managing Director, had pledged to match any money raised but increased the donation by taking the total to £1500.
