We have recognised the need to provide a safe manufacturing environment which will result in a high quality, safe product for our customers.
We have a Food Safety Culture team that consists of a cross section of colleagues from different departments that meet on a monthly basis. The purpose of the team is to create a proactive and positive working environment by promoting team building and improving food safety awareness.
We understand the difference that we can make by supporting charities which educate and enrich the next generation or those that can provide comfort and support to those in need.
We have sponsored the AHDB Schools Grow Your Own for the past 7 years. Launched in 2005, Grow Your Own Potatoes (GYOP) was one of the first primary school based growing projects. Since then, it has become one of the largest of its kind with 2 million children taking part in learning where potatoes come from, how they grow and the health benefits. The straight forward hands-on nature of the GYOP project makes it perfect for young pupils.
